High Five for FRIDAY!

What a crazy week it has been.  Whew glad it is Friday even though I could use 2 more working days my desk is out of control but I LOVE that!

1) Miranda getting ADVANCED in her Math ISATS moving up 16 points from last year!
2) Mikayla getting her 1st job! YEA
3) Andy's trip being postponed for Maine
4) Admin Day - Our attorneys are amazing
5) My running buddy being healed so we can get to training.

This message is in the current book I am reading and it hits close to home in just about every aspect.

"Tranquility depends, not on peace in the world, but on the peace we carry within. Exercise helps us handle stress better by increasing the endorphins in our brains. But the key to a truly serene spirit comes from placing our "hope in the Lord." In knowing there is a powerful Reality beyond the visible world we see. It's this power that gives us strength to run and not grow weary.

High Five for Friday

Okay so it is Saturday Morning but I am still posting. I decided Top 10 is hard to come up with so I stole the High Five from another blog!!!!

1) TAX MAN is paid for!! YEA

2) Mikayla ROCKIN her 400 - she improved on time by 2 seconds which is HUGE in the sprinting world

3) Miranda being a NATURAL at softball - 1st base; pitching; hitting she has it all.

4) DAZED and CONFUSED! Yea that is my new softball team name. I was chatting w/ a mom & they invited me to play SWEET!

5) CLEAN HOUSE!!1 I was home sick & bored on WED and did all the cleaning. Can I tell ya that I can never ever be a stay at home mom I will go crazy. Who washes throw pillows and everything in sight. hahhahaaha

I am ready for a fun busy weekend. Already got my 5 mile run in this a.m. w/ my sweet dog now softball; sprints; softball! YEA!

Friday - My Top 10 this week!!!

1) Spending Monday w/ my beautiful girls goofing off in Boise
2) Being SUPERMOM! Made softball practice & track meet & didn't miss a beat!
3) Hill running w/ my running buddies at work - windy but good
4) Chatting w/ my 2 good friends Kelli & Laurie at track meet
5) Andy coming home & bonus he will cook for us! :)
6) Baking banana bread w/ Miranda YUM
7) Playing catch w/ Miranda
8) Mikayla ROCKING the 400m at her meet nice!
9) Finding the bottom of my 4 bins at work (granted they are full again but I found them)
10) EASTER WEEKEND!!!! I love this.

As my good friend Jaime sings "It's a good day - good day to be alive" Can't complain about anything in my life at all. God has blessed me so much. I hope everyone has a beautiful Easter and remember the meaning of Easter. God Bless

Whewwwwww what a way to end a great weekend! 16 miles was on my calendar to run & yup DID IT!!!! 10 more and I would have done a marathon! YEA~June 23rd will be here before I know it so next long run will be 18 miles..
If you haven't seen Hunger Games I strongly suggest that you do. Even if you haven't read the books (which should be added to must read) you will enjoy it. Miranda & I went Friday right after work it was FANTASTIC. Do I dare say that I enjoyed this movie better than Twilight!!!! They followed the book so well I was impressed. Yesterday didn't leave my house & stayed in my jammies until about 4 when I showered & put on clean jammies!!!! hahhahaha I cleaned all day & had my sweet teenage driver do my running around she even put gas in my car!! LOVE HER!!! So now I will enjoy every bite of my pizza cause I deserve it! hahahahaha

Wow what a crazy week & weekend. It was a nice relaxing Sunday for our household. Church & then took the girls to see We Bought a Zoo. Excellent movie it is a must see!!!!
Here are my top 5 things for last week.....

1) Miranda's Honor Choir getting a near perfect score of 79 out of 80. Pretty AMAZING.
2) Nampa High Cheerleadders despite the challenges this year taking 2nd Place at STATE!!!
3) A 3 day weekend for me!
4) Getting my desk completely cleared before my 3 day weekend.
5) Going to my friend Laurie's 40th Suprise Party.

Ready for a great week ahead and excited to see what it leads to.... Softball starts and Mikayla's 1st track meet.

Happy Friday (Well Thursday for most of you) It is my Friday. Tomorrow is a very busy day so I took the day off. Miranda will be singing with the Honor Choir at the Wester Idaho Elementary Music Festival in Kuna and then we need need to zoom back to Nampa for the State Cheerleading Competion. Nampa is competing in the Co-Ed Show Cheer. So if you are in the area tomorrow & it is your not working lots of stuff in the Armbruster household. I will be of course charging my camera for both events.

So my dear friend has released her new album and can I tell you it is amazing. She has the most beautiful voice. If you have never heard her sing you really should go to her site www.jtmusic.net to learn about her.

I haven't yet figured out my favorite tracks yet. It is either track 2 - It's a good day which is so different from her normal style and it is awesome then you have Love's work is never done - wow very powerful and I would die for that - made me cry! Man, I think they are all my favorite I can't pick one. Sooooo let me know what your favorite is.....

Been awhile

Wow it sure has been a long time since I have been on my blog. Even tho I see it everytime I click on the internet (being my homepage and all). Lately I have been obsessed with blogs. I want to start sharing my favorite ones I have been stumbling across with the help of pinterest!!! :) So here is my favorite one this week. She is amazing. Besides stalking blogs :) I have been training for another marathon & have discovered crossfit. Still undecided if I LOVE it but wow when you can't walk or move your arms for 3 days it must be working right? hahahahaha My very good friend Donna has been asking me to go for over a year & I finally bit the bullet & did it & WOW it was great. I will make it up that ROPE!!!!! It seems so simple but man it is not!!! So that is all from me for now. I hope to use my blog more often then not sharing what I stumble across.
